Ms. Salem is a native Texan. She graduated from Texas Tech with honors. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Salem received her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Following graduation, Ms. Salem initially practiced in a general civil practice. Later Ms. Salem moved to the State Bar of Texas, where she worked as a staff attorney and Regional Counsel for the Houston area.
